Our High School Youth Ministry meets on Sundays after the 5:00pm mass until 8:00pm at St. Gregory the Great Catholic School. All students in grades 9-12 are invited and encouraged to attend. Friends (high school aged) are always welcome at any of our Youth Ministry gatherings regardless of their faith background. Parents are also welcome to join us to see all that we do during our meetings.
Our High School Ministry is more than our Sunday night meetings. We offer and participate in a variety of programming at local, diocesan, and national levels. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We hope to see you soon!
We aren't quitting over the summer.. in fact, we're adding even more opportunities to plug in! All activities listed below are for High School Students - which includes current high school students, students entering High School this fall, and those who have just graduated from High School.
Join us from 6-8pm (ish) each Sunday for a movie and discussion. Movies will be voted on by the students and the discussion will stem from what moral choices, situations, failures, and triumphs were present in the film. It is quite interesting to see what stands out - even in movies that we've seen many times before. How do these entertainment choices influence and impact our discipleship? Join us for discussion! Movies will be rated PG-13 and below.
Looking to go a little depper ni your faith this summer? Have we got an opportunity for you. Join us Wednsday evenings (6-7:30pm) for our book study, "A Father who Keeps His Promises" by Scott Hahn. This is a relatable, easy to read (yet gets you thinking), walk through the covenants of the Old Testament. What is a covenant? Why did God make covenants with man? What was the result of the covenants? and How does that apply to me?! Each week we'll progress chapter by chapter through the summer and gather for discussion, questions, reflections, and challenges!

The Christian Leadership Institute (CLI) is a five-day long experience for high school studenst from throughout the diocese who come together with an adult minister to foster leadership and development in order to produce Christian leaders for schools, parish youth ministries, and the community. The camp is designed to ignite spiritual renewal and empower youth to effectively share their faith with their peers. Teens will build new friendships with other teens from around the diocese, be inspired in their Catholic faith, and develop some very practical ministry skills, all while having the time of their life.
CLI has four main components:
Diocesan and National Retreats/Conferences
The list goes on and on!
